The bed has been outfitted with a camper shell, a sleeping platform, storage compartments, a built-in air compressor, a fire extinguisher, and anti-theft devices, while the Double Cab has been retrimmed in two-tone Katzkin leather and provided with front-seat heating elements, a self-dimming mirror, an 1,800W inverter, a head-up display, a rearview camera, a Pioneer head unit, a CB radio, sound-insulating material, and a leather wrap for the steering wheel. Additional changes include an Old Man Emu suspension setup and a thermo-acoustic hood liner. This Tacoma is now offered with a window sticker, the owner’s manual, records, parts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean title.
Finished in Super White with a matching camper shell, the truck was specified from the has been modified with a Webasto factory-style sunroof, an ARB front bumper, off-road lighting, fog lamps, LED reversing lights, a low-profile roof rack, and a stubby antenna. The bed has been outfitted with a sleeping platform and storage cubbies as well as bed lights, a bed mat, a locking tailgate handle, and a tailgate anti-theft device. The TRD Off-Road package added a sliding rear window.
The 16″ Y-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 tires. The TRD Off-Road-tuned suspension has been modified with an Old Man Emu kit including 885 springs and N140 shocks up front and Dakar-style leaf springs out back. The removed Bilstein components accompany the truck.
The seats wear two-tone Katzkin leather covers, and the truck has been fitted with front-seat heating elements, a Gentex self-dimming Homelink mirror, an aftermarket head-up display, an onboard ExtremeAire compressor, and an 1,800W inverter beneath the rear seat. The truck has air conditioning and keyless entry, the Pioneer head unit is linked with a rearview camera, and the CB radio draws signal from a Firestik antenna. HushMat and Dynamat insulation has been applied inside the cabin, and the center console has custom embroidery.
The steering wheel wears a leather wrap and has integrated audio controls. It frames a 120-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 68k miles.
The 4.0-liter VVT-i V6 features variable valve timing and was factory rated at 236 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque when new. A 130-amp alternator, supplemental oil coolers, and a transmission cooler are fitted as part of the V6 Towing Package. An oil change was performed, and a thermo-acoustic hood liner has been installed along with QuickLIFT hood struts.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a limited-slip differential.
The Carfax report is free from accidents or other damage.
